victoria had her legs crossed on the couch, her sweatpants bunching up around her (they were, naturally way to big for her tiny frame), and her worn out, yet comfortable charleston university t-shirt felt soft against her skin. she normally didn't stay at school, but she had to get out of the house, her little brother she left with her sort of aunt (who was more like a family friend), and her mom hadn't been around.
lately, victoria had fallen a little behind with her work, but her professors were recently aware of her situation and they had given her lee-way, without it damaging her chances as soon-to-be student body president. it was her dream, in a sense, to do something so accomplished. and it was very much in her reach. people liked her, she had fantastic grades. seemingly she had it all.
the door to the lounge opened, and victoria looked up with a smile, letting it falter only slightly when she saw who had walked in. "hey natasha." she said in a clipped, almost dismissing sort of voice. she was gutsy.

OUTFIT--without the sunglasses
Natahsa usually didn't hang out in here, she had better places to be. Like organizing something for her sorority or to gain interest, or maybe doing some homework, or making out with a hot guy--or girl for that matter. But unfortunately, as PI president, she had to be on campus doing something every once in a while.
So, she'd figured the lounge was better that nowhere. Especially since it had started raining and she did not carry around an umbrella. This was the place where the more country types hung out, all they needed was a little pool. If Tasha really wanted to do something fun she'd go into the nearest city. Stay on campus, what a joke.
As she walked in, she was greeting, quite coolly, but Victoria Beckwith. Vicky had the dean wrapped around her little finger and had a very good shot at student body president, but she had to know that around here, that carried almost no weight. This was a party school after all.
"Hey No-Dick-Vic," Nat greeted her lightly, a little smirk crawling onto her lips like a scorpion preparing to strike. "You do realize that if you become student body president, the only people you'll get to sleep with you are those drunk girls you love so much. Guys don't like nerds." She laughed lightly, eyebrows raising slightly.

victoria rolled her eyes, a habit her grandfather had gotten her into when she was younger. it had started off as a joke, but slowly became something that came in handy. there were so many people in the world that victoria would rather not deal with, people that in all honesty should take the hint and dismiss themselves with her eye roll. but she'd known natasha long enough to know that an eye roll was hardly a reason for her to leave.
"i don't love drunk girls, sharp, that's you, remember? i do things when i'm drunk that maybe i'm not proud of, but it's all to impress the boys. so, nerd or not, the boys like me just fine. it's you their worried about, the number of std's you've probablly got is enough to keep anyone away." so maybe that was too harsh, but victoria didn't put up with natasha's i'm-better-than-you-because-i'm-pheta-pi-president act.

Natasha just laughed brightly. Really, was that the best she had? The whole STD card. "Straight people get just as many STDs Beckwith." She said with a smirk. "You're just jealous I can get twice as many people as you can, sober." Natasha liked being bi, she could find lovers everywhere, sober or drunk, and those guys who wanted to try a threesome, she'd always comply, it was easy, both partners would turn her on. It wasn't her fault she was attractive and she wasn't a prude.
She shook her head slightly, blonde curls bouncing slight about her shoulders. Victoria was just uptight, it was her own damn fault. Tasha wondered if half the time she was into girls and didn't want to admit it 'i do it for the guys' what a joke....

"Right, Sharp, that's true! And you sleep with all kinds, so naturally, you've got more then straight people and gay people. Unless...you haven't even been tested yet? My, my, my, Natasha, I would think Pheta Pi's president has some standards. Clearly, you're in some state of denial. There's a free clinic in town, I heard one of your girls whispering about it during class." Victoria said, bored with the conversation already, they always poked at each other with the same material. Now, Victoria was honestly a really good person, it was just people like Natasha that brought out the worst in her.
She couldn't help being easily provoked. Her temper was a little short, but she had the right intentions. Deep down, Victoria and Natash knew they had some sort of friendship, niether of them could survive without the other one there to fight with. Who else would they take their issues out on?

Nat rolled her eyes lightly. "I'm clean Vicky, no need to cast aspersions. We all know you're worried about what you picked up over the weekend." She laughed, crossing her arms across her chest lightly. Really, she didn't have a problem with Victoria, Student Body President had some weight to it, at least Nat wouldn't be here when the day came, but even being considered was something. But it was dorky on this campus, parties held more weight here.
She glanced outside, still raining, so she wasn't leaving, her hair would never survive. Stupid fall weather.... Natasha sighed and looked back at Victoria, figuring the girl had some sort of unnecessary retort. Their arguments were always unnecessary.
That's when Jared walked around the corner, he'd obviously been in another corner of the lounge perviously. He cracked a smile as he walked in, "Hello ladies." He said. Nat knew him to be a Frat boy, a notorious ladies man and charmer. She'd hooked up with him a fair number of times, they had sort of dated at one point.
"Hey J," Nat said with a little smile.
